On September 22, as the first United States business delegation, we traveled to Lebanon and saw the devastation firsthand. We also saw the tremendous work of NGOs and other organizations on the ground, to provide relief and begin rebuilding the country. In response to the many needs that we identified, we are initiating an effort to marshal the well-known generosity of the American people. The U.S. - Lebanon Partnership Fund is a nationwide effort to raise awareness and funds to partner with Lebanese communities to rebuild their country, providing critically needed resources to assist in the reconstruction effort in Lebanon following the recent conflict. We are both honored and proud to lead this initiative on behalf of the American people. By working through the professionals at Global Impact, we will ensure that the funds are going to trusted organizations who are working where the needs are greatest. Please join us in our effort to partner with the people of Lebanon to rebuild their country.
