CAROL follows the relationship between two very different women in 1950s New
York. A young woman in her 20s, Therese (Mara) is working in a department
store and dreaming of a more fulfilling life when she meets Carol
(Blanchett), an alluring woman trapped in a loveless, moneyed marriage. As
the story unfolds—their lives begin to unravel with Carol becoming more
fearful of losing custody of her daughter in the case of separation when her
husband (Chandler) threatens her competence as a mother because of her
previous affair with her best friend Abby (Paulson), and new relationship
with Therese.
请注意这段简介後面的人称都是以Carol视野出发，不知道是不是暗示了电影版
可能会稍稍偏重盐女卡萝的部分。在书里面花痴泰芮丝才是真正的主角就是了。
就像前面讨论版友提过的，现在要在女主项目双提几乎是不可能，看看丑闻笔记与八月
心风暴的例子就知道，一定得报不同项目才有可能双提。即使电影Rooney的戏份比较多
但是以资历与气魄评断，阿姐报女主还是比较符合期待吧。
