We left Yokohama a day ahead of the team because Kris was scheudled to pitch the first game of the series on Friday. Once we got in town we both only had one thing on our minds.... I don’t even eat at Outback at home, but the thought of an American meal made me so excited. Don’t get me wrong Japanese food is delicious, but a lot of food is fried or mixed with noodles, which can make it hard for me to find a healthy balanced meal that is gluten free. I have yet to find somewhere you can order a chicken breast or a filet of fish, so I had the grilled salmon one night and their chicken breast the next. (Yes, we went twice)! 耶!! 奥美客 !! 我在家乡从没吃过奥美客, 但是想到吃美式餐点这想法让我感到兴奋 不要误会我的意思,日本食物也是很美味的, 但很多食物是炸物类或混着面条类一起料理, 这可能会让我很难找到平衡健康的餐点是不含*麸质 我还没找到哪里可以订鸡胸肉或鱼肉片 所以我们一晚吃了烤鲑鱼,隔天又点了鸡胸肉(是的!!!我们去了两次) Friday Kris Pitched. He had a good outing, he pitched 7 innings allowing 2 runs. The game went in to extra innings and we ended up losing. :( Kris did hit a single though, and his batting average isn't too shabby! haha. 星期五Kris先发,表现不错,七局失两分,但是比赛打到延长赛後输球 (Kris打了一支安打,所以他的打击率不会太难看)哈哈 The dome was pretty, it was a neat stadium. Kris said he would sign after we ran and got dinner, ( It was already 10 o'clock) since there were still several people there when we got back he signed a few. The fans are great, and what dedication to stand and wait for hours in hopes to get an autograph from the players. ( They found it hilarious that I was taking a picture of him!) 通常我们回去的路上,球迷都会在饭店外等候 Kris说晚餐之後他会去签名(那时候已经10点了) 我们回到那边,因为那边还有一些球迷在等,所以他又签了几个 球迷真的很了不起,为了得到球员的签名, 他们贡献了几个小时站着等(他们发现我在拍他的照片) http://i.imgur.com/RYVtQlZ.jpg On Saturday, we had a little time in the morning so we walked to Starbucks for breakfast.They have pastries everywhere which is normally what kris will grab. Sadly I can not have that so we normally always make a pit stop into a convenient mart and get me these three things: SoyJoy protein bar, greek yogurt,and a veggie/fruit juice!( This is sometimes my lunch too!:) ) 星期六,早上我们有点时间,所以我们走去星巴克吃早餐, 他们有Kris平常会点的糕点,很可惜,我不能点那些 所以我们平常都先去便利商店,然後帮我买这三样东西: SoyJoy营养棒,优格和蔬果汁(有时候也是我的午餐) http://i.imgur.com/fZRgFf0.jpg It was absolutely gorgeous outside, so after breakfast we walked around the city for a bit. 外面真的太漂亮了,所以吃完早餐我们就在市区晃一下 http://i.imgur.com/PANDHsM.jpg On the road, if Kris is not pitching, he usually doesn’t have to stay once the game starts. (Over here if your name is not on the game roster you are not allowed in the dug out.) Since he got the evening off we enjoyed Happy Hour at this cute wine bar. One waitress recognized Kris and had her Carp bag there and asked him to sign it. We both find it pretty neat when you have a fan in a totally different city. 去比客场的时候,如果Kris没有出赛,他通常不会比赛开打就会在球场内 (这里是指如果比赛名单里没有你,你就不可以在休息区) 他晚上休假,我们就在这间漂亮的红酒吧享受快乐时光, 有个女服务员认出了Kris,然後请Kris在他的Carp包包上签名, 我们都觉得在完全不同的城市里面能有位球迷,这真的很酷 http://i.imgur.com/3S5FIGx.jpg This button is the greatest thing, I think we should have them in the states. The waiter does not come to your table unless you hit the button. They have a TON of shopping in Nagoya, I would need several days to conquer it all. :) I did find my first Forever21, (for those of you who don't know I was a visual manager at Forever21 and had worked there for about 4 years before we decided to come on this adventure to Japan). It made me miss all the girls back home. It looked pretty similar to the ones in the states, even their denim table was a huge mess, it pulled at my heart strings. ( I also wanted to fix a million things and help them recover the store!) 然後我们当然是去血拼罗,在名古屋有超多血拼店,我需要个几天的时间去征服 我找到了我第一家Forever21(在我们决定来日本之前,我在Forever21作了四年的 视觉陈列)这让我想念家乡的女孩(*应该是指她的同事). 这一间看起来非常像美国分店的外观,甚至他们的丹宁商品区是一团乱(*大概被乱翻 还没时间整理好吧)让我有点心痒痒(我有想要去帮他们把店内回复原状) http://i.imgur.com/EVGnrt0.jpg This ferris wheel was connected to the side of this building. 这摩天轮是挂在这栋建筑物旁边 http://i.imgur.com/Ys3k4Z9.jpg Since this post is already getting long I will try to keep Sunday short. ( By short I mean a million pictures and a few words.) Kris had the day off so we went to visit the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. I think everyone else decided to visit it too since it was a gloomy and rainy day. I believe there are eleven of them and three different species. Even though we had no idea what the trainer was saying the show was great! Melisa告诉我们海豚秀有多酷!!!所以我决定去一探究竟,她是对的,海豚们真的超赞der 我相信有三种品种共11只,虽然我们不知道训练员说什麽但是海豚秀真的棒棒!!! Kris grabbed us hot cocoa from this cute little concession stand, and it was so yummy! The smaller one is a baby, It tended to always stay close to his Mom. They were so pretty, I could have watched them all day 还有我喜欢的虎鲸....或杀人鲸....或我就叫牠们威利(*威鲸闯天关) 比较小的是只babe,牠总是游得离妈妈很近,牠们真的很漂亮,我可以一整天看着牠们 http://i.imgur.com/fLtQHSW.jpg A training show was about to start as we were leaving, I really wish I understood Japanese! 当我们要离开的时候,训练秀差不多要开始了,我真的希望我懂日文 We also saw a ton of sea life and sea turtles. 我们看了超多海洋生物和海龟 http://i.imgur.com/TbqCyed.jpg Last but not least, Penguins! Everyone loves penguins and I had never seen such active little guys! 最後,但不是真的最後, 企鹅!!! 大家都喜欢企鹅而我从来没看过这活跳跳的小家伙 http://i.imgur.com/JDvCljG.jpg After the aquarium we caught the bullet train back to Hiroshima. It was already 8PM when we arrived back so we decided to pick up some bread and make grilled cheese sandwiches back at the apartment. I am posting this so you can see how it is rubbed in my face daily that I can not have gluten. Bakeries are around every corner, there is probably four just in our train station. They smell like a little slice of heaven and all I get to do is sniff and drool over it all. (haha okay okay I am done making you feel sorry for me.) 在参观完水族馆後,我们搭新干线回到广岛,我们到的时候大概是晚上八点, 所以我们决定去买些面包,回家後作烤起司三明治 我贴这张照片,你们可以看一下这些东西让我觉得很不甘心(*应该是不能吃又想吃的表情) 面包店很多,光我们的广岛站大概就有四间,这些闻起来就像是天堂来的小切片, 而我所能做的就是流着口水和闻过所有面包 (哈哈~好啦好啦~我不在让你们为我感到可惜啦) All the bakeries are gorgeous and they make you want to buy everything. 所有面包都非常精致并且会让你想要全买下来 http://i.imgur.com/lixZooK.jpg Kris is going to try this cute Carp hat pastry one day! Well, Kris had to try it and now eats it weekly for her. They are delicious and I have a new love for the simple glazed one. ( It is the donut that looks like a bunch of circles connected together.)
