Already, 2.7 million tickets have been sold. The Cardinals say another 500,000 tickets will be sold as single-game tickets. More than 2,000 tickets will be sold as single-game tickets for Opening Day. "I'm frankly surprised that the demand for season tickets because the last season at Busch was kind of the final change see old Busch, and there's really mich more demand to see new Busch, which will be here for a long, long time," says Cardinals owner Bill DeWitt. Cardinals fans, though, are disappointed but understand the strong demand for tickets. "I am a die-hard Cardinals fan, and I wish I could get the opportunity to take my family when I want to, but now it's a situation where I kind of have to plan it out," says Leonard Gonzalez of Godfrey, Illinois. Added Mark Duffy, an Alton, Illinois native currently living in Scottsdale, Arizona. "I think it does make it a little more difficult, but I think you can always find a ticket someway, you might not sit in the best seat in the house," said Duffy. Single-game ticket sales will start March 4th at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available at stlcardinals.com, by calling (314) 345-9000, at Schnucks markets and Cardinal Clubhouse stores at Union Station, the St. Louis Galleria and St. Clair Square.
