Someone may surprise you with a negative reaction or criticism about something you felt really good about. Since you probably weren't expecting anything like that, it might come off as shocking, and it might cause you to rethink your own opinion of your accomplishment. Don't let that happen, Moonchild. If you were feeling really great about something you have done, why should a sudden negative remark have any impact on that? It shouldn't. The world isn't short on critics.
