"The player has signed an economic contract that will tie him to the club until June 30, 2012." Toni, 33, leaves the Grifoni having made 16 apperances for them since his summer move from Roma. He scored three goals whilst at the Marassi. He is likely to take the place of Fabio Quagliarella, who is expected to be out for the remainder of the term after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
