Centre-back Dario Dainelli has spoken of his deep sorrow after completing
a move from Fiorentina to fellow Serie A side Genoa yesterday.

“I want to say goodbye to everyone,” he told the Viola’s official website.
(Dainelli在Fiorentina官网上表示：我想跟每一个人道别)
“I said goodbye to the lads and I am sorry. It’s been six years, five of
which were as captain. I am proud of having played here and of having worn
the captain’s armband.
(六年，其中有五年是担任队长，在这里踢球并成为队长让我感到骄傲)
“It was an honour, so I can’t be happy to leave. But a time comes in
football when you have to make a decision.”
(这是一份荣耀，所以我不能很开心的离开这里，但是事情就是这样，我必须做决定)
Dainelli arrived in Florence from Brescia in 2004 and experienced ups and
downs with the Tuscan club, including the Calciopoli scandal and their recent
impressive Champions League run.

“A lot has happened during my time here, but right now I only have the
good ones imprinted in my mind,” he said.
