Veteran goalkeeper Massimo Taibi has joined Palermo - but not as a player.
The 39-year-old has joined the Rosanero to assist as a goalkeeping coach,
especially to current number one choice Rubinho.

"At the moment, there are a lot of heavy criticisms raining down upon him,"
Taibi said to Stadionews.

"I think he is a good goalkeeper, as I have seen him in action. He only
needs time. He is good, and we need to stay close to him at this time.

"To walk out of the tunnel and onto the pitch, one needs to let all the
criticisms slide off, and focus and concentrate."

Currenly, Palermo and Rubinho have conceded eight goals - the sixth-worst
defence in the league at the moment.

Juventus on next weekend.
