Although Papadopulo was handed a new one-year contract just six weeks ago, Zampa has this evening shown him the door. Zamparini had originally dismissed widespread speculation that he would be bringing back Guidolin, but the whispers were finally confirmed on Monday. Guidolin joins the Stadio Renzo Barbera outfit on a three-year deal after he had an unsuccessful eight-month stay at Monaco in the last campaign.
