Gentile demands Italian victory

Claudio Gentile has told his Under-21 side that
they must defeat Ukraine on Friday in order to get
their European Championship campaign back on track.
Although Gentile has again praised the character of his side
for coming back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Denmark on Wednesday,
the Coach is expecting maximum points this evening.
“I have no doubts about the quality of this squad
because I know these players very well,” stated the Juventus legend.
提到上一场对丹麦从１－３落後到３－３追平的比赛，

“However, we must learn from our mistakes in the first game
in order to not repeat them against Ukraine.”

Gentile, who led the side to the title two years ago,
is eager for his troops to be mentally right
for tonight's clash in Portugal.
“We went into the first game with the wrong approach,” he added.
“We took the lead but then we were not able to do what we wanted.

“I spoke to the players at half-time, I saw their determination
and I understood that I would get a reaction which arrived.”

He added: “Seeing as how the game was fixed at one stage,
my team underlined that it has enormous potential.

“But we must do better against the Ukraine. If we want to reach
the semi-finals then we need to beat them.”
「但是我们必须在对乌克兰的比赛中做得更好，

The Ukraine actually top Group B presently after
they beat Holland 2-1 in their opening game of the championship.
