选(B)会造成两个动词的问题
再来，look up是指查阅某项资料
所以中文的查字典，不可以写成look up the dictionary
我们要查的是『字』本身的意思，而非『字典』这本书
我们只是去从字典中查到这个字的意思
所以查字典应该用
look up a/the word in the dictionary
所以(A)出局
而这类双字动词，其後的受词如果是一般名词，可放中间或後面
我们也可写成look the word up in the dictionary
比较特别的是，有些双字动词片语，遇到受词是代名词
必须放在两字的中间
例：look up、pick up(捡起)、take off(脱掉)、put on(穿戴)
有些文法书会说因为像up、off、on此时不是当介系词，而是副词
至於：look for(寻找)、get into(进入)等动词片语
就算其後的受词为代名词，也不放中间
所以(D)要改成look it up in the dictionary
