Infielder Christian Colon was optioned to Triple-A Omaha. Wang, 36, pitched two scoreless innings in Tuesday's 5-4, 10-inning loss to the Yankees. He is 6-0 with a 4.22 ERA in 38 appearances this season. Alexander, 27, has a 4.85 ERA in nine appearances with Kansas City this year and a 3.00 ERA in 22 appearances for Triple-A Omaha.
