Hu started his fourth straight three-hit game with a single and scored in the first inning. His triple in the second put the 51s (45-51) on top, 6-2, before he singled in the fourth and walked in the sixth. The MVP of the All-Star Futures game is 14-for-26 with three homers, 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored in six games since he was promoted from Double-A Jacksonville. Andy LaRoche went 2-for-3 with a double, solo homer, two RBIs and two runs scored for Las Vegas. Reliever Casey Hoorelbeke (3-3) picked up the win, despite allowing two runs on two hits and three walks in 2 2/3 innings. Eric Hull fanned the final batter to notch his eighth save and secure the 51s' seventh straight win. Starter Dwayne Pollok gave up two runs -- one earned -- on three hits in three frames. Portland starter Mike Thompson (2-8) surrendered all nine runs on 10 hits in five innings. Relievers Jared Wells and Roger Deago combined for three hitless frames.
