: AV = 3960 + 495(1.07)^2 + 440(1.07) + 396 = 5393.53
: 原本的想法是觉得因为
: a(t) = (8+t)/8 = 1 + t/8
: 所以就把他当成是 simple interest 的给息方式 ( i = 1/8 )
: 因此每年的 interest earned 都是
: 3960*(1/8) = 495
: AV = 3960 + 495*(s3 angle 0.07) = 5551.37

simple interest vs force of interest rate of the form 1/(a+x)
是个有ambiguous的题目，据我做过题目的观察，可归纳出
(i)若题目是说simple interest rate => 要用你原本的想法做
(That is, each intest = P*r, P: initial investment amount, r:simple interest
rate)
Please read Sec 1g A technique note on "simple interest" (ASM study note
10th edition)
(ii)若题目给force of interest of the form 1/(a+x) => 要用像这题解答的方式做
(That is, you should compute effective rate of interest i during time t
t
Then, interest = P*i )
t
(2) 现在的FM sample的确很好用，该出现的题型真实考试都有可能出现，若一开始不熟
，建议把ASM study manual 的Chap 3~7的每一题都做过，并且都要能够理解为何要那样
解，剩下的部分几乎都是背诵or观念问题，可以选择不做很多manual上的题目。然後我
2月考的经验是其实出现不少duration,convexity,exact match的题目，所以sample上
有这些题目的一定要做熟，光靠manual的题目是不够的(当然若你是用11th edition
我就不敢保证是这样了)，剩下的就是看你英文阅读能力好不好了，会不会看不懂题目，
抓不到解题方向。然後衍生性市场的部分若时间不够的话，put call parity, call
option, put option的公式题目一定要先去做它，因为以应付考试的观点，这些题目通常
是比较简单又好准备的的。
(3) CBT 你去官网找，的确会有P和FM的online模拟测验，题目是从sample抽出来的，
考前可以用来复习一下，然後每一科做个5次就可以了，但真实情况的介面不是长那样的
(4) 若时间充裕，可以把SOA的syllabus的参考书拿来看，尤其是McDonald的Derivative
Markets，观念会比读note清楚，不过因为只有考15%~35%，其实报酬率不高啦。

ASM study manual的sample exam考前最好全都要做过喔(虽然我只做了3个)，然後你去找
manual的errata，应该会有说哪几个比较简单，先从那些开始做，我从第一个开始做，结
果是比较难的，只有23/35，吓死了，不过那时有些东西忘了，所以其实复习一下也没那麽
严重，不过前提是前面要好好念。
