Science/engineering discovery starts from "observations of foundamental problems;" it is the same for 金融. The development of theory or solutions are for solving problems. Since your backgournd is EE, my suggestions for you: Identify the finance or economic problems that facinate you first. Then you can start looking for what a good solution could be. (先弄清"症状" " 需要" 再找解药). You already have good basic training on math., signal and systems, and/or automatic control. So, spend your time of this 大五 year on identifying what the really significant and challenging finance/economic problems are. 这是教授的回答，我想内容无关隐私 所以po出来，想请教各位对财工比较熟悉的大大 cool大 ，或是阿鲁比特大 其实我现在有考虑电机所的控制组和财工所 是否值得花时间去拿个双硕士 我的方向是想往财工前进，未来想做像是交易员方面的工作 原本只是想专心的能拿个财工硕士就好 但有一次问一个在巴黎外商银行当sales的学长 他告诉我说：我拿台大电机的理工硕士会比拿到财金硕士，更容易进去 像是他们这样的银行工作，因为财金/工硕士的量很大，国外名校 回来的也很多，但好的缺并不多 於是我很认真的考虑这个问题 谢谢大家~ -- --
