美国着名的Singer/Songwriter Warren Zevon，於日前因肺癌死於
位於加州的住所，享年56岁。
由於长期抽烟，Warren Zevon於去年夏天经医生证明感染了肺癌，
医生宣告他只剩六个月的生命。
於是他利用最後的时光录制了最後一张专辑The Wind。
这张专辑邀来了Bruce Springsteen，Ry Cooder，Joe Walsh，Don Henley，
Tom Petty，Emmylou Harris等美国音乐界的传奇人物一同合作。
专辑於今年八月发行，Warren Zevon也活得比医生估计的还久，
直到今年九月七日。
The Wind获得Uncut杂志五颗星满分推荐。
并是metacritic综合评分网站2003年度至今总评分第二高的专辑，
高达93分，仅次於Led Zeppelin的精选辑How The West Was Won。
九月号的Uncut附赠CD中第一首歌即是Warren Zevon与Bruce Springsteen
合唱的Disorder in the House。
