如果要个别约定每种情形是否有 forcing pass, 那太麻烦了, 而且也不太可能照顾到
所有的可能性. 所以最好有个大原则, 能够适用在绝大部份的高空竞叫.
我自己是使用卤教授在很多年前给我的建议:
"如果在竞叫过程中, 我方曾经做出 '一般性的迫叫成局' 或 '邀请成局或更好' 叫品,
则设定 forcing pass. 否则就没有 forcing pass."
因此, 以下情形有 forcing pass:
* 1H (1S) 2S [limit raise or better]
* (1D) 1S (3D) 4D [game forcing]
以下的叫牌过程则没有 forcing pass:
* 1S - 3S [limit raise]
* (1D) 1S (3D) 4S [直接叫成局就没有 forcing pass, 与上述最後一个例子对比.]
而且是否有 forcing pass, 与身价无关. 若身价有利时没有, 则身价不利时也没有.
以 noeye 的问题为例, 因为 3S 的牌力为 limit raise, 所以没有 forcing pass.
