Gallardo for RHP, Corey Knebel
Cash IF, Luis Sardina
RHP, Marcos Diplan
Knebel, 23, and Sardinas, 21, both played briefly in the majors in 2014.
Before being acquired from Detroit in a July trade for reliever Joakim Soria,
Knebel went 0-0 with a 6.23 ERA in eight relief appearances for the Tigers.
Sardinas played in 43 games for the Rangers, batting .261 with eight RBI and
a .303 on-base percentage.
Diplan, who is only 18, played professionally for the first time in 2014 in
the Dominican Summer League. He had a sensational debut, going 7-2 with a
1.54 ERA in 13 starts. In 641/3 innings, he allowed only 32 hits with 36
walks and 57 strikeouts.
