标题[消息] Brewers moving closer to signing Randy Wolf

The Milwaukee Brewers are "on the verge" of signing free-agent left-hander
Randy Wolf to a three-year contract, according to the New York Post.
A Wolf signing had been rumored for most of Monday, the first day of
baseball's annual winter meetings. AOL FanHouse reported earlier that
Milwaukee was closing in on a pact. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel speculated
that an agreement could be reached as early as Tuesday, followed by a
physical.
Wolf made himself a valuable free-agent commodity by going 11-7 with a 3.23
ERA in 34 starts for the Dodgers this year. He had expressed interest in
returning to L.A.
Wolf reportedly was to meet with the Mets tonight.
Milwaukee has made no secret of its desire to upgrade its rotation.
