Yost 在上个礼拜表示他对於外野阵容的想法是让 Hall 及 Hart 担任先发中外野及右 外野手，左外野则由 Jenkins 及 Mench platoon(http://0rz.tw/412mM )。Jenkins 在前几天说如果要让他platoon，他宁愿被交易到其他球队(http://0rz.tw/702rb )。 昨天 Mench 也同样表示宁愿被交易到其他球队也不愿意platoon，如果 Yost 让他 platoon，他会"pitch a fit"(http://0rz.tw/a62sY )。 Jenkins 及 Mench 该适可而止了，到此停止的话球迷勉强还可以容忍。如果他们去年 表现很好今年还被缩减上场时间的话球迷会支持他们，但是事实是他们去年表现不好 而且生涯对同方向投手的打击成绩有明显的落差，再加上 Hall 及 Hart 并不是鸟蛋 ，我实在搞不懂他们有什麽立场要求多一点的上场时间。另外他们以为 Melvin 不想 把他们交易出去吗？是因为在冬季会议时换不到有价值的球员他们才会都还留在队上 ，而且就算被交易到别的球队他们也不一定可以拿到先发位置。 这一次 Yost 对於 Jenkins 及 Mench 的回应相当令人赞赏，来看一下 Yost 的回应 ： "They're going to have to accept it, but I don't want them to like it," Yost said. "What we're looking for are guys that want to be team players and that want to win a championship, to be on a winning team whatever it takes. If you don't want to be a part of the team because you've got other aspirations or other ideas of what you want to do, that's fine." And as he insisted after learning of Jenkins' comments earlier in the week, Yost predicted that his outfield logjam would not be a problem. But, he added, "I'll handle it. If you want to be a part of this thing, fine. If not, fine by me too. We're here to win ballgames. To be really honest with you, there's more than one person who can throw a fit." --
