Update: Jones aggravated his left thumb injury in Sunday’s win over
Washington, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He went 2-for-3
with a walk and two RBI. “Hopefully I’ll be ready to go,” he said. ꄊ
We’ll see how it feels Tuesday.”
Recommendation: He was able to remain in the game after aggravating
the injury while hitting in the seventh inning. The Braves have an
off day on Monday, so at least he has some time to give the thumb some rest.
