"But after two underwhelming seasons with the Orioles, Mazzone lost both his
job and his genius card. Looking back, he admits that leaving Atlanta wasn't
so smart. "I never should have gone to Baltimore," he says. "That's the most
dysfunctional joint I've been around in 42 years of baseball."
