The Braves could be looking to come to a quick accord with free-agent reserve
Greg Norton.
Talks between the two sides have already taken place, and it's possible a
one-year deal will be struck soon. Norton hit .246/.361/.427 in 171 at-bats for
the Braves. At .316 with three homers and 18 RBI in 57 at-bats, he was one of
the game's best pinch-hitters last season.
