Adam LaRoche, who missed his second straight game on Wednesday because of
a strained right hamstring, is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday.
He needs three more extra-base hits to break the franchise record for a first
baseman. Andres Galarraga set the mark in 1998 with 72 extra-base hits.
