Bautista (wrist) will have an MRI on Tuesday after X-rays Monday night did not
reveal a fracture, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Recommendation: At this point, it's much too early to determine the extent of
Bautista's injury. Anthony Gose was an early removal from Monday night's game
at Triple-A Las Vegas and may be joining the Jays as a roster replacement as
early as Tuesday. Bautista said that he felt a popping sensation during the
swing that ultimately sent him to the clubhouse early, while the Jays are
currently referring the injury as a tendon issue.
