标题[求救] VIMENTIN!

我现在正在看一份老化相关的文章
文中提到Twist1 (or Twist2) + H-RasV12 (or ErbB2)
Total loss of E-cadherin, Vimentin ↑, acquisition of invasive properties.
其中E-cadherin原理我懂，但是为什麽Vimentin ↑？
这点对我而言有点不太懂，检测Vimentin的目的是什麽？
他不是细胞骨架其中之一吗？检测他有什麽意义呢？
