标题[问题] orientation of recipient cells

【问题】：recipient cells 的产生
【问题起因】： studying the mechanisms of bacteria reproductions
【个人看法】： 毫无头绪
【参考资料/连结】： 我的生物学课本
版上好，第一次上来发问，刚好最近在看细菌的繁殖模式，看到有关conjugation process
the mating type is based on two cells, one with F plasmid, forming
conjugation bridges by cell-to-cell contacts，所以突然想到，为什麽有的细菌
会没有 F plasmid? 如果有的菌种可以不需要 F plasmid，那又何必有这个模式来做
transferring，会是要启动被需求的生理功能吗?
只希望有个言简意赅的答案就好，无需深入的答案，感谢分享
