刚好连着三天都有Affymetrix的新闻。
原因在於其产品获得今年产品研发管理协会 (PDMA)之杰出发明奖的题名，而此产品
又获得MIT和哈佛采用以进行RNA expression analysis, SNP genotyping and DNA
resequencing等研究。

Affymetrix was selected on the basis of its success in pioneering and
commercializing GeneChip(R) microarrays. By using photolithography and
solid- phase chemistry Affymetrix can produce arrays containing hundreds
of thousands of DNA probes packed at extremely high densities. GeneChip
microarrays have played a key role in helping drive the global genomic
revolution, according to Stan Jankowski, Chair of the OCI Award Selection
Committee and President of N.O.V.A Consulting Co. LLC.
虽然我不没特别探求生物晶片的发展，不过既然众多版友都以Affymetrix为指标，因
此抛出一些资料。有兴趣的人可以进一步涉猎。
注：PDMA为一从事产业界历史最久的产品研发调查的非营利组织，产品研发调查概念
是在1968年开始萌芽，PDMA从1990年以来一直从事此项非营利的研究调查工作。
