随着Netflix版恶灵古堡影集的预告释出 外电也刊登了几则关於影集的新闻 有一些情报相当地出乎意料(读音:毁人三观) 以下摘译几则: -影集是与游戏同世界观的「续集」 它们属於正史(canon) 原本大家看到新拉昆市和威斯卡的选角 已经认定网飞拍的是平行世界版的恶灵古堡 没想到影集制作人Andrew Dabb出面表示 影集是游戏的续集，属於同世界观的正史 "The games are our backstory. Everything that happened in the games exists in this world. So like the village is there. We might not get there till Season 5, but it is in our world, we can play with those, you know, as we're now moving ahead," 「游戏是我们(影集)的背景故事， 发生在游戏内的事也都存在於这个世界(影集)。 村庄(指BIO8)也在其中， 我们大概要到第五季才会提到， 但它的确存在於我们的世界中」 -制作人强调 虽然游戏与影集是同世界观 但不是直接改编於任何游戏 也不会着重在埋藏彩蛋等粉丝服务上 "We're not being like, episode three, like meet the Redfields, episode four, here's Leon. And I'm sure there's a certain part of the fan base that I'm sure would be like, please do that version. But for us, it was more important, like, let's take you on this journey." 「我们并没有要拍... 比方说第三集，遇见瑞菲尔德兄妹， 第四集，里昂出场(之类的)， 我很确定有不少粉丝会要求我们做这种版本， 但对我们来说，带你们进入这场旅程更加重要。」 "The games are canon and, I’m sure we make mistakes, but we did not consciously violate any rules from the games. But at the same time, it’s not a direct adaptation of the games.” 「游戏是正史， 我很肯定我们会出一些错， 但绝非有意识地触犯游戏的任何规则。 但它(影集)不是游戏的直接改编。」 更惊人的还在後头 “We are very aware that Albert Wesker was blown up on a volcano by a rocket launcher,” he said. “There is a very good reason why Wesker is back and it does not come down to the fact that he was wearing lava and rocket launcher proof clothes. So we’re very aware of that.
