"It wasn’t just that I was a big shot, I was a cool drummer." 「噢，我想是他们很幸运的得到我加入」林哥补充。「不仅仅因为我当时是当地乐坛的名 人，我还是个很酷的鼓手。」 --- 抱歉忘记翻译到後面几段，关於Ringo的说法，在Hunter Davies的书里面就有约略描写， 罗利与飓风乐团在利物普当地算是很有名的团体，而Beatles要从德国练功回来才开始 发光发热。而关於Ringo说自己是很酷的鼓手这边，原本的鼓手Peter Best是个帅哥， 歌迷非常多，而且妈妈是洞穴俱乐部的老板，算是有後台，可惜作风比较老派， 跟大家比较格格不入，像是把头发往前梳的造型，Best就是团员里面最後一个做的。 可想而知在德国一些狗屁倒灶的胡闹，Best都不会加入，搞不好还很解High， 相对起来Ringo就算是有点不良少年的意味，至少在打扮上一直都是走在前头。 至於Paul跟Ringo的心结，其实也没别的，就是Paul天才横溢，样样精通， 有时候Ringo还没来或者他觉得Ringo不够到位，他老兄就帮忙连鼓声一起录了， 不负责写曲又鲜少主唱的Ringo当然闷罗。 --
