村田从佐佐冈手中击出全垒打後，低着头不发一语回到休息室，而且
哭了出来。村田说「我是第一次打了全垒打後，却觉得非常难过」。
赛後佐佐冈绕场到横滨休息室前，村田与佐佐冈握手致意，并向佐佐
冈道歉。佐佐冈则笑着拍拍村田肩膀说「被打出去才让我思绪清楚了
些，心情轻松不少」。
接受访问时佐佐冈表示「这是双方使出全力的对决，我没有半点遗憾
和悔恨」，提到三振掉铃木结束比赛时也笑着说「被全垒打後马上用
三振结束很像我的风格，也算是不错吧」。
