Blazers get run out of BOS; Nate on hot seat
The Blazers were run out of Boston on Friday night by the score of 104-86 in
a game that was nowhere near as close as the score suggests.
The Celtics led by 35 points at halftime with Portland media sending out
videos of Wizards-like plays every 10 minutes. Nate McMillan annually loses
his teams while the national media routinely can't figure it out and he could
be fired any day. His mixture of old school beliefs combined with a stubborn
inability to see easy personnel decisions and trends will be his undoing.
Disregard everybody's performances, including those of Raymond Felton (eight
points, four assists, five turnovers), Gerald Wallace (two points, five
turnovers), Wes Matthews (10 points), and Jamal Crawford (eight points).
LaMarcus Aldridge scored 22 points. This game is an outlier, and if anything,
when McMillan gets fired and everybody plays better it's a buy low moment.
