Andre Miller expects to overtake Steve Blake as the starting point guard for
the Trail Blazers.
Portland signed Miller this offseason.
Miller said that Blake is a "great player," and added that he wants to do
what's best for the team. However, the 10-year veteran believes that he
deserves the starting job.
"I'm going in there as the starting point guard — there's nothing else to
it," Miller told the Columbian. "I look at it as a challenge. Nothing is
handed to you. So I have to go in there with the right attitude, knowing
that, this is a point guard spot that is going to have to be battled for."
