The Trail Blazers met with free-agent
point guard Carlos Arroyo last week in
Las Vegas.
HoopsWorld learned of the meeting, which adds just another name to the list
of point guards that Portland is considering.
Arroyo played in Israel last season, but his agent, Leon Rose, said that
he
wants to return to the NBA in a starting role and under a two-year deal.
However, a source claims that
Portland sees Arroyo as a backup, and not a
starter.
The 76ers are rumored to be showing interest in Arroyo as well.
