Pritchard confirms Millsap offer; agent says Millsap will sign tonight The Trail Blazers have tendered an offer sheet to Utah power forward Paul Millsap, general manager Kevin Pritchard said Friday, and Millsap's agent said the player plans to sign the offer sheet tonight. Once Millsap signs the offer sheet, Utah will have seven days to match the offer. ESPN reported the offer as 4-years worth between $32 million and $36 million with a "hefty" signing bonus. Agent DeAngelo Simmons, who is also Millsap's cousin, confirmed the offer is for four years, but would not reveal the amount until Millsap signs tonight. Simmons said Millsap has assured the Blazers he can accept a role playing behind LaMarcus Aldridge. In his three years in Utah, Millsap has started 41 of 242 games, playing behind Carlos Boozer. "He's a ball player, a team player,'' Simmons said. "He's played that role before. He will come there, if Utah doesn't match, and play hard and do what the coach asks. That's just the way he is.''
