With news breaking right and left about free agency, coaching interviews and possible disgruntled players, this little tidbit almost slipped through the cracks: The Blazers have settled on their NBA Summer League roster. The team will feature 2008 summer league MVP Jerryd Bayless and all three of the Blazers' second-round draft picks -- Jeff Pendergraph, Dante Cunningham and Patrick Mills. Also, for those Blazers fans who follow local amateur basketball, there are two more treats in the form of University of Portland graduate Pooh Jeter and Jefferson High School alum Thomas Gardner. Summer league runs from July 10-19 in Las Vegas, but the Blazers will not make their debut until July 13. Assistant coach Joe Prunty will coach the team. Our summer league coverage will ramp up next week, when the players gather at the practice facility in Tualatin for training camp.
