Aldridge out; undergoes MRI on Wednesday Posted by Jason Quick July 11, 2007 13:17PM Categories: Summer League Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge - who has been tearing up the NBA Summer League - will not play in tonight's game against the Los Angeles Lakers because of a left heel injury suffered on Sunday in a game against the Dallas Mavericks. Aldridge underwent a magnetic resonance imaging test on Wednesday. "We think it is just a bone bruise, but we are going to make sure it's just a bone bruise,'' Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard said. Nobody can recall when or how the injury occurred, but Aldridge did receive treatment for the injury immediately after the Dallas game.
