Does Oden have medical issues? Posted by Jason Quick June 18, 2007 13:59PM Sports Illustrated's Ian Thomsen, one of the best in the biz, has a report questioning the health of several draft prospects, including Ohio State center Greg Oden. In a conversation I had earlier this week with Blazers coach Nate McMillan, he brought up that Oden has some "medical issues", but those issues didn't appear to sway McMillan's view that the Blazers should take Oden. I finally reached Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard today, and his response adds to the intrigue that was outlined in Sunday's story regarding the Blazers indecision between Oden and Kevin Durant. "I'm aware of it,'' Pritchard said regarding Oden's medical issues. "And everything concerns me.'' Part of Oden's three days in Portland will be getting a physical and a battery of tests from Blazers team doctors. "This is part of the puzzle we have to figure out,'' Pritchard said.
