Spurs Still Eyeing A Center 4th July, 2006 - 5:53 am San Antonio Express-News - With Ben Wallace on his way to Chicago and Nene staying in Denver, the big man marker appears to be settling, which is bad news for the San Antonio Spurs . According to the San Antonio Express-News, the Spurs offered Portland free agent Joel Pryzbilla the same yearly salary as the Detroit Pistons have after losing Wallace, but the Spurs were hesitant to offer a five year contract. According to Przybilla's agent, Bill Duffy, Przybilla is leaing towards joining the Pistons. "San Antonio's right up there, but I think Detroit is probably a better fit for Joel," said Duffy. "It will be a good challenge for him. But, again, it's going to be Joel's decision." Duffy said he expected Przybilla to make his final decision by this morning. The Spurs also have negotiated with Nazr Mohammed but are waiting for him to establish his market value.
