Punch Ref - 26 february '01
Players intimidating referees is a common occurance. Unhappy with a
decision, one or more players gather round the hapless ref and call
his wife an animal fellating old whore, amongst other things. Such
events add to the natural banter and bonhomie of a sports game. It's
completely pointless of course, as a ref has never, ever reversed a
decision because of obscenities bawled at him by spoiled overpaid thugs.
So, why bother? Why not just punch the man?
