标题[情报] Jerry翁的apologizing letter

Dear students,
I'm terribly sorry about my absence today, and feel even worse to keep you
waiting so early in the morning. I suddenly fell ill as I left home this
morning and ended up in the hospital instead. There should have been a notice
posted on the classroom door but for some reason that didn't happen! I offer
my sincere apologies to all of you and hope you will continue to come to class,
as these emergency situations are rare for the most part.
Class will continue as usual next Tuesday at 9am.
I also wanted to announce today that you have a sonnet memorization exercise
in two weeks on April 13, in which you will choose any one sonnet (Shakespeare
or Browning) to memorize. You will write out the sonnet in class and read aloud
your chosen sonnet in small groups.
Please pass on this email to classmates in your department if you know their
alternative email addresses. Again, my apologies and I wish you all a very
nice weekend.
