It seems to be paying off, as the projectable left-hander was getting attention for his three-pitch mix and his loose, easy arm. Kohler will touch 90 mph with his fastball, but there could be more in the tank. He mixes in a downer curve and a fairly deceptive changeup to give him two secondary pitches that should be at least Major League average.
