Garciaparra has said he would be willing to play any position other than pitcher and catcher, but I have a feeling he would need to sign for next to nothing and rely on a contract calling for heavy performance bonuses. I don't believe the Astros are interested, but you never say never. I think some of the skeptics are going to be surprised at what Bagwell's going to be able to do next year.
