THE INIMITABLE ICHIRO
这篇主要是介绍Ichiro在打击区时会做的事,我最喜欢他最後说的那句话---^^
"When I'm hitting, I'm never just out there playing baseball," Ichiro insisted.
"I'm always trying to, not adjust, but to improve. That is the goal."

Ichiro proving doubters wrong
Bless me, Ichiro, for I have sinned.
I thought you were losing it.
Upon further review, I was the one losing it.
Two months ago I wrote a satirical piece about this season's awful
Seattle Mariners' slide and had the temerity to suggest Ichiro Suzuki was
no longer fun to watch.
His batting average had plummeted to -- egads! -- a mere .314
in two weeks' time……

M's Ichiro: History in Motion
History has a way of escaping before you really know it's there.
As Mariners manager Bob Melvin points out, where Ichiro's historical
hitting pace is concerned, fans "should enjoy what they are watching.
This has never really been done before……"

Let's marvel at Ichiro's hit parade
Out in Seattle, where the baseball gloom is as deep as anywhere
in the country, something brilliant is happening.
And it's only appropriate that some people are saying
what Ichiro Suzuki is about to accomplish,
like the Mariners themselves, isn't worth a hill of beans……
