Contrary to what was reported last week, Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin
will not leave Arsenal during the summer transfer window.
不会离开，驳斥上周那些妖言。
The Russia International is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail that his
relationship with manager Arsene Wenger is very good and he has no reason to
leave the Gunners.
我跟教授那麽要好，我也没有离开的理由。
The 29-year old was not at his best this season but still managed to find the
back of the net ten times, also producing twenty assists for his team mates.
生涯最低迷但也有十分二十助攻。
Asked about the just-ended campaign, the midfielder admitted the Gunners
should archive the season as a failure as they scored less goals, conceded
more, dropped one place in the English Premier League and also failed to win
the League Cup, lost against relegated side Birmingham.
球队惨状就不说了。
On his future, Arshavin said:
Don’t believe the rumours. Everything is good with (manager) Arsene
Wenger. I’m not going to leave Arsenal.
Compared to last year we dropped from third to fourth place in the
championship. We were in the League Cup final, which we should have won. So
you have to admit the season was a failure.
