刚刚爬文确定一下似乎没有人写过这位--another famous gooner,Roger Waters （有点讶异这里没人写过,毕竟这位可是以歌明志,又是神主级摇滚巨擘,大概是时代稍微 久远了） 几天前把我老婆她姊收藏在家中柜子里,这张史上占据Billboard专辑榜最长周数 （741 weeks也就是从 1973 to 1988,整整十四年多！！） Pink Floyd的前卫摇滚代表作品,太空迷幻祖师爷级专辑Dark Side of the Moon 拿出来听,从此一发不可收拾,虽说是近四十年前的专辑了,但因为意象跟概念的完整, 几首脍炙人口的名曲Money, The Great gig in the sky, Brain Damage, Eclipse, Us and them, Time...今日听来仍有如新的感觉,我像是着了魔一样的狂听狂查他们 的东西.. 而Bassist兼front man的 Roger Waters在Syd Barret因精神分裂因素离团之後担负 起乐团主要的概念舵手与词曲创作者,从1973的Dark Side of the moon开始, 1975的Wish You were Here, 1977的Animals张张精采,再到1979的最着名Rock Opera 之一的The Wall. Roger Waters无疑是PF里最重要的人物,但锋芒太露也因此短暂逼 走Richard Wright,又因越来越注重个人思想,在音乐性上的退缩,让他与吉他手兼主唱 David Gilmour闹翻,最後导致自己离团（跟Arsenal有关的部份来罗！） 在他离团前的一张专辑1983 的The Final Cut有一曲名为The Gunner's Dream由於歌名 关系,马上吸引我注意,是首相当抒情的反战歌曲,动机是1982年伦敦海德公园发生两起 恐怖炸弹攻击,歌词则以一个Gunner（战士,机枪手）在他所乘的飞机被击落之後,他在 使用降落伞飘落到地面前,自己的一生缩影从眼前晃过,然後他做了一个梦,一个和平 不再有战乱的乌托邦之梦.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJTKv_c1tkE 乍看之下,这首歌跟阿森纳兵工厂好像没有什麽关系,但当你了解Waters根本就是 Highbury球场的根据地Islington的老乡,你就应该猜到RW在这首歌名上动的手脚, 表面上The Gunner's Dream虽然是一首反战歌曲,同时也在双关枪手球员的惯用语 Gunners. (巧合的是onlinegooner论坛上面今天也有人跟我有一样的发现跟讨论 直接点明了RW是枪迷的事实) http://tinyurl.com/3zbg5pk 而作为一个枪迷最可以津津乐道的一点, Pink Floyd在1972六月份开始在全英最着名的Abbey Road Studio,录制Dark Side of the Moon这张全球卖了4500多万张,史上第三畅销专辑（前两名分别是MJ的Thriller 跟AC/DC的Back in Black）,八月份开始乐团的录音遭受到定期性的外务间断影响开始 变得有点不顺利,原因无他,就是Roger Waters开始必须常常翘班去海布里看他最爱的 枪手征战！不盖你,有Wikipedia为证： http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Side_of_the_Moon#Recording "The recording sessions suffered regular interruptions; Waters, a supporter of Arsenal F.C., would often break to see his team compete." 顺便查了一下,Waters当时看的枪手应该是Terry Neill时代的枪手, 这位34岁1976年开始执教,史上最年轻的枪手少帅,先前3年竟然是在死敌热刺麾下掌教鞭, 而当时Liam Brady也在阵中作为主力球员为枪手踢球. Neill上任後成绩很不错,1978到1980年三度踢进足总杯决赛,一度封王（1979） 1980 虽然踢进UEFA优胜者杯决赛,但无奈以点球输给Valencia. 当时Waters看的枪手无疑是很有竞争力的. 音乐上附带一提,最近研究PF让我觉得1970年代的摇滚真是风起云涌百家争鸣, 太多划时代的,经典的团体的存在,当时作为乐迷真是太幸运, 而还跟我们同时代存在的最佳音乐团体已经没有几支了,Beatles,The Doors, Velvet Underground等早就已经作古不然就是解散. 而Pink Floyd两位大将Gilmour跟Waters（虽已不是官方团员）还活着 （键盘手Wright2008年过世）,也已经在这两年先後宣布停止巡演, 但与他们同时代存在着,就表示我们还见证着历史, 还好我这麽幸运能在这个年纪认识他们,欣赏他们,以後好对子子孙孙说, 瞧,你老爸/阿公年轻的时候这些经典的东西可是不会错过的！ ※ 引述《Noel (Fever Pitch)》之铭言： : 之前有讨论过Arsenal球迷有哪些名人 : 取娱乐界我听过的部份 : -Music- : 1.Dido : Mentioned in several papers that she's a committed Gooner : (and Frank McClintock fan), born and bred in Islington. : See this fan site or this one.
