Van Persie doubtful for Macedonia clash

Holland may head into their World Cup qualifier against
Macedonia without Robin van Persie after the Arsenal forward
missed training on Monday due to a groin problem.
小西今天没参加训练 由於出现鼠蹊问题
The 25-year-old sustained the injury in Saturday's 3-0 win
against Scotland in Amsterdam which put Holland eight points
clear at the top of Group Nine.
Van Persie gave the Oranje a two goal advantage with a strike
on the stroke of half-time but limped off the pitch fifteen minutes
after the break.

The Dutchman is unlikely to be fit for Wednesday's clash with
Macedonia in Amsterdam and will probably be replaced by Real Madrid
forward Wesley Sneijder, who also took his place against Scotland.
Real winger Arjen Robben missed Monday's training session too, but
is expected to be fit for the midweek qualifier.
