Among the top four, trading is pretty rare – United blocked Heinze's move to Anfield because they didn't want to strengthen their competition. When was the last time Arsene Wenger signed a player over 27-years of age? I can't remember. Has it ever happened? (加拉算一个吗?但印象中我们很久没买超过三十的後防球员了,而且还2年约, 相当罕见) It is rare for Wenger to buy a player from another premiership club. It is also rare for Wenger to buy specialist players. Most Wenger boys can play in a variety of positions and even specialists like Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna can attack like wingers. In the squad, William Gallas and Philippe Senderos are the only specialists. 温格也很少从其他英超球队买球员,而且很少买专职一个位置的球员 (这里原文忘了Gallas也可以踢边後卫,队上应该只有Senderos算) So why buy, 31-years-old, built like an ox who is completely unexciting and rarely attacks? The gap between Clichy and Armand Traore is clearly too wide. We have no cover at left back if we are honest. His positioning will be good and he will know what to do. Manchester United won't miss him but Arsenal need him 作者的意见是:这是一个好的签约,曼联也许不会想念Silvestre,但我们需要他. --- 这篇主要在帮温格的签约护航 但是其中说的不无道理,我认为实际上温格也很可能这样用sil, 回想第一场联赛,教授把Toure换上,撤下Walcott Toure顶RB,把Sagna推上右翼,从中场开始就具有稳固的防守能力, 这是教授想要改善上季平局多,比赛後半段容易失球的策略吧! 当初加拉来的时候,对他改穿红白,很多人都不能适应 过一个赛季,竟然还任命他成了队长, 教授这个人你说他固执,他的决策又往往转的比任何人还要快, 还要不可预测, 他眼里没有所谓死敌球队的球员, 没有跟我们这些球迷一样的既定成见, 对他来说,只要堪用(quality),实惠(value),谁都可能买下... --
