This disaster has taken so many lives and we just want the people of China to know that our thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time. The forthcoming weeks will be extremely hard for many thousands of families in Sichuan Province and words cannot heal the pain that is being experienced at this current time. However, I know that the Chinese people are very strong and will join together as a country in order rebuilds the lives of the many people affected by the disaster. I just want to say that although China is far away from London, you are all close to our hearts at this time.
