Cesc's future tied to Wenger By Francisco Acedo - Created on 5 Jun 2007 Cesc Fabregas has stated that his future at Arsenal remains firmly intertwined with that of his manager, Arsene Wenger. "My future depends on Wenger," Fabregas told Marca. "Now I am happy at Arsenal but if the coach leaves the club and also other players I would have to think again about my position. "Wenger has shown much confidence in me since my arrival in London and that is key for a player." Fabregas has made no secret of the fact that he wishes to return to Spain at some point in the future, having been plucked from Barcelona's youth setup at the age of 16 without making a senior appearance in his home country. Barca's rivals Real Madrid are believed to be great admirers of the young Catalan, but Fabregas has not given any serious thought to ending his English adventure just yet. "I believe the interest of Spanish clubs in my services but I have signed a deal with Arsenal," Fabregas continued. "I think that it's difficult to say no to Barca," Fabregas told El Mundo Deportivo. "I know Henry likes Barca, the problem is he loves Arsenal a lot for what the club have given him and the experience he has had at the club. "Barca are one of the best clubs in the world, if not the best, and Henry is a great player. "Barca always have the best players in the world." Henry has reportedly become frustrated with Arsenal's lack of recent success having finished fourth in the Premiership, well adrift of champions Manchester United. "Henry has already won the World Cup and now he wants to win titles at club level," added Fabregas. "For me Barca are a top club, so are Arsenal, but it is up to Henry to decide what is the best for him. "If it was up to me, Henry and I would play together for the rest of our lives." Fabregas, who learned his trade at the Catalan club, admits he would relish the opportunity to return to Camp Nou at some point in his career. "I hope there is a chance to return (to Barca)," he added. "People who know me already know this. "The problem is that Barca, as I have witnessed with the national team, already has great players like Xavi and Iniesta, who are playing very well.
